The Supply Chain Forum Southwest 2024 took place at the Process Automation World facilities of Siemens AG in Karlsruhe. The aim of this event was to explore and strengthen the synergies between mechanical engineering and logistics. Under the leadership of Dr. Payam Dehdari, HFT Stuttgart, over 100 decision-makers and experts gathered on February 1st, 2024, to discuss challenges and opportunities in the industry.
The forum speakers presented different approaches to address the industry’s transformation. Discussions and presentations highlighted topics such as sustainable road freight transport, digitization, and optimization potentials for process plants. Participants had the opportunity to take part in exclusive factory tours and learn about the latest technologies and trends.
